As a rehabilitation centre that specializes in orphaned, injured or unweaned animals, it is seldom that SanWild receives an animal into its care that does not require immediate veterinary treatment or specialized feeding. These costs can be significant.

SanWild is offering you the chance to be part of a unique project and contribute financially by adopting any one of our wild animals. Sponsorship packages come in two forms:  

• Sponsoring an animal for an amount of $50. This package will give you a stunning adoption certificate that will be mailed to you.
• Sponsoring an animal for an amount of $150. In return for your contribution, you will receive a full case history of the animal that you have chosen. The package include a DVD presentation which will include information on the species to which the animal belongs, an update on its progress to becoming a free roaming resident of the SanWild Wildlife Sanctuary and a stunning adoption certificate.  In addition to the above your package will also include a photograph that can be framed for your personal use. 

There is something deeply satisfying in knowing that your contribution have helped to save a wild animal that may otherwise have died or suffered in unacceptable conditions. When an animal finally walks free to join others of it's kind in a natural protected environment, there can be no greater joy or sense of achievement.

If you have found an injured or orphaned animal and need help to rescue and save it please phone our emergency number on +27 (0) 833103882 or email rescue@sanwild.org  Obviously we can only attend to indigenous wild animals in South Africa. We also assist so-called problem animals - if you know about an animal that will be destroyed because it has become a problem to people, please let us know as well and we will help where we possibly can.
