Rhino poaching case postponed for trial

Three Mozambican men appeared in the Phalaborwa Magistrate's Court on Wednesday in connection with rhino poaching, Limpopo police said.

The case against Juka Chauke, Million Chauke and Raul Shirindza was postponed to July 5 for trial, Lieutenant Colonel Mohale Ramatseba said.

The men were denied bail at an earlier court appearance. They would remain in police custody until the trial date.

They were accused of poaching rhinos in the Kruger National Park.
