What does the course offer?
This course offers a once in a lifetime experience. Students will be working with the team during the wildlife immobilization operations, as well as rehabilitation cases. Students will be led by our wildlife veterinarian, who will demonstrate how to do the procedures that are needed in the different scenarios.
We strongly believe that the best way to learn, besides the lectures, is working in the bush, hands on.
Is this course for me?
Anyone with a strong passion for wildlife that can commit to a hands on course & long hours of work will be more than happy to join our team.
We encourage vets, vet techs/nurses, students and pre-vets to enroll.
What makes us unique?
A question that most ask when enrolling for a wildlife medicine course.
We are a proud organization that does not support or tolerate any form of animal abuse. We do this solely for the future of the animals that depend on us. By enrolling for this course, you are helping conservation, and the animals directly.
The work that will be conducted is unique. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, including the Big 5 (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo) so students will work with them, as well as any call outs of injured wildlife.
• US$ 2500 per person for 15 days
• Includes your meals, accommodation, day-trips and the Conservation & Veterinary Program.
