Specific project:  Help us keep our wildlife safe from poachers.

The unfortunate reality:

Our wild animals require round-the-clock protection to ensure they can live in peace. Rhinos and other vulnerable species often attract the attention of poachers.

The trained, dedicated teams of our Anti- Poaching Unit patrol the SanWild reserve and provide a visible, effective deterrent.

The cost of maintaining this level of protection is significant - running between R45,000 and R70,000 per month.

For a non-profit sanctuary, this is one of the most important, yet most demanding, aspects of conservation management.

If you choose to fund this initiative, your support enables:

  • Professional anti-poaching personnel on the ground

  • Continuous patrols and monitoring

  • The protection of rhinos and other vulnerable species

  • Long-term security of the sanctuary

Large or small, every contribution plays a role.

For companies and organisations, there is also an opportunity to sponsor a full month or contribute toward a defined protection period, creating a clear and measurable conservation impact.
