Tonga Terre d’Accueil
SanWild has partnered with Tonga Terre d’Accueil in France on the ROAR I, II and III projects, supporting the international rescue and relocation of big cats. With logistical support from Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, lions from European zoos and circuses have been safely transferred to SanWild for long term residence. These rescues are made possible through the support of organisations including the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, 30 Millions d’Amis and One Voice.

Smart Savannahs & Qulinda
SanWild collaborates with Sweden-based Smart Savannahs, a non profit organisation working alongside Qulinda to deploy advanced monitoring technology across the sanctuary. This includes GPS tracking collars, camera systems, motion sensors and drone-based monitoring. These systems improve early detection of threats and strengthen protection for elephants, rhinos, cheetahs and other endangered species.
Linköping University & University of Johannesburg
Through the Smart Savannahs network, SanWild works with Qulinda and its academic partners, including Linköping University in Sweden and the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. This collaboration focuses on developing and testing cost effective, AI-based animal monitoring systems as an alternative to conventional wildlife tracking methods.
